Wellness At Its Finest.

One mustn’t put a price tag on wellness because health is wealth. The Asa Maia is for me, the ultimate in luxury wellness. Here, every aspect of your wellbeing, be it physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual are well-nourished, refreshed, enlivened and strengthened in an impactful and lavish way. I do not want to be too descriptive with their wellness-centric amenities and opulent offerings because it is like giving spoilers to a highly acclaimed movie. You will need to experience, feel, taste, and see it for yourself.

The most memorable vacation experiences of my life!

The Asa Maia resort provided one of the most memorable vacation experiences of my life! Nestled among trees in a quiet neighborhood, the serene location sets the tone for pure relaxation. Mornings began with yoga and fresh honey lattes, followed by an attempt at capoeira in the afternoon.

We participated in an eye-opening breathwork class and indulged in nearly every spa treatment and hot/cold plunge therapy available. Each meal was a vibrant feast, from refreshing acai bowls to the freshest catch of the day—truly unforgettable!

This was an incredible and rare opportunity to unwind, hidden away in the tranquil pace of the Balinese jungle. A true slice of heaven! For anyone looking for a blissful escape, we cannot recommend Asa Maia enough!

Without hesitation book to stay in here, you will not regret it - it is very special.

This is my second time staying here and I love it and will return again. It is a beautiful space to return to wellness and health with the yoga, cold and hot lunge pools and healthy food. Asa Maia works hard to live by its sustainability ethic, locally sourced food, organic, natural products etc. The yoga teachers are amazing and Daniella is just wonderful I hope to cross paths with her again when I return next year.

For me it was the zen, yoga moment I wanted.

The hotel is beautiful and very well maintained. Like Everything in Uluwatu, you feel like you are driving down a side dirt road to get to it but once you arrive inside it’s very nice. It’s very quiet, zenful and private. If you are looking to be still and relax it’s perfect. If you want socialization and more lively vibe this resort may not be exactly what you are looking for. The facilities were exceptional for yoga, spa and pools. They say you can get massages everywhere in Bali, which is true but you get what you pay for as far as spa facilities and relaxing feel. It was VERY nice to go to a true spa room for treatments. Massages were wonderful and the staff very accommodating. The most impressive thing was by far the food. Breakfast was exceptional!!!!!!

Rooms were fabulous as well. Winnie the yoga instructor was everything you want a yoga instructor to be, big genuine smile full of peace, happiness and positive energy. Absolutely adored her!!!

Lovely paradise

The staff is so nice, the ladies at reception, Kodji at the pool bar (sorry for the wrong spelling) and everyone we came accross (buggy etc.) Everything was made to make you not think about anything and go with the flow. The rooms are amazing and the restaurant is really good!

Great choice to stay in Uluwatu!

The location was great just 2minutes by boogie or 5 minutes walk to center where there are attractions. There is also shuttle service to 2 beaches near by. Everything was organic and the open kitchen set up was nice. Our room was great. The staff was nice and solution oriented. Complimentary yoga classes and other classes was nice.

Just amazing

This has to be the best wellness resort we have stayed in. The management and staff are 5 stars, and many 5 star hotels should come and learn how to look after their guests. Our room was always immaculate and clean. We loved the outdoor shower in our room, and it has an indoor shower as well. Snacks, treats, as well as Nespresso machine and tea always provided. Martha, the owner, and her son Syddarta are always around and mingling with the guests, which is a breath of fresh air. Loved our 5 nights at this amazing resort.

Look forward to being back!

Beautiful property in a great location, close to the beaches, great restaurants and bars. Excellent rooms and facilities. Brilliant food options. Great attention to detail. The people who work here make this place very special, from the very helpful front of house team (special thanks to Indra who went an extra mile), to the great bar and restaurant staff, to fantastic yoga and fitness instructors.

I would recommend this hotel to those who want to relax in Uluwatu and enjoy high-quality spa services.

Hotel has a very appealing design. The poolside is quite relaxing with great food & coctails. The rooms are clean and the bathrooms offer Bali style showers. The hotel staff is super friendly

Outstanding wellness resort in fantastic location.

Incredible property offering too class facilities and service. The breakfast choice was extensive, I struggled to choose each day because everything was so good. Amazing facilities; including yoga classes, beautiful pool and gym, sauna and both got and cold plunge pools. Out of this world bedding.

Would come back and time again.

Fantastic, idyllic place in the busy Uluwatu area. Excellent breakfast, dishes and service from a friendly team. Nice houses around the pool, cold and hot water pools, sauna and massage. The houses are Javanese style, greatly decorated with in and outdoor baths rooms. Would come back and time again.

Healthy, invigorating, beautiful

Not been to Uluwatu region of Bali before. From the little we saw it seems to be very surf and health conscious. We spent the vast majority of our time at The Asa Maia resort. We went for the 'full' program with all meals (mostly vegan - so sets the expectations for people who go there of what it is about), yoga twice a day, Pilates, breath work, guided meditation, contrast therapy, IR sauna so pretty fully occupied.

I was worried I might go hungry but never did. If you dont go for the included meals/activities the meals are available any time time 9pm. There were inexpensive from 70,000 to 130,000 rupiah ++.

The seat up itself is beautiful - reception with the yoga studio above and the kitchen dining/ bar below. Only 10 total dwellings apparently transported across from another island with Beautiful bathrooms attached. in lush gardens and a stream with koi. The hot and cold pool in their own 'wells' were perfect. I did not think that the 6 degree pool would be cold enough - it certainly was for me!

Go there if you are wanting a health retreat. All our instructors were great. Often it was just the 2 of us doing yoga and always for Pilates/breathwork. If you just want to relax in beautiful surroundings then fine too. Never saw more that 10 guests at a time.

Rejuvenating & Relaxing

The Asa Maia is a magical place. Everything - the design, facilities, service, food, wellness programming - is impeccable, and both times that I've stayed here I left feeling recharged and rejuvenated, and pining for the next trip back. It's unlike any other hotel I've visited. Best in class all around.

Hands down our favourite hotel in Bali

Hands down one of my favourite hotels! The building itself is stunning with locally sourced woods and stones. This extended to the huts that have a stunning mix of traditional balinese mixed with modern style. Since the hotel is not so big, it didn't feel too busy at all and it was a very relaxing stay, full of lots of fun facilities to explore. We enjoyed the gym, infra red sauna, the hot pool, and the ice cold plunge pool! The pool is beautiful, surrounded by lush green trees and vegetation. The food was really delicious and breakfast was very generous and if you venture a short 5 minute walk from the hotel, there are many more cafes and restaurants to choose from. Finally, I particularly liked how friendly the staff were and all the little details in the rooms - definitely made the stay more memorable!

Fabulous and zen!

True butique retreat hotel! Secluded yet in very good location of Uluwatu. True butique hotel with only 10 high-end bungalows, each a work of art and Balinese woodwork craftmanship that uses recycled wood materials combined with modern inserts. Each bungalow has a with an interesting story, sophisticated design combining old and new plus are very spacious with all the amenities you would expect from a five-star hotel. Atmosphere in the resort is very zen and there's all the spa and pampering you can imagine although make sure you book all treatments in advance, we did not have a chance to get any spa treatments due it being fully booked throughout our stay. Yoga us available twice every day although for a small fee.

Huge plus to the complimentary gym access, infrared sauna and both cold and hot plunge pools! Restaurant is very high quality (both breakfast and dinner) and is only for hotel guests so no extra fuzz. Hotel and rooms are also ultra sustainability coutious and you won't find a single piece of plastic anywhere! The beds are super comfy and all the sheets and even bathrobes are made from high-end linen.

Can't recommend this resort enough! We spend amazing 4 nights of our honeymoon here and hoped we could stay longer. Definitely coming back!
