How long are your retreats?

  

We offer 3, 5, and 7-day signature wellness retreats. Personalized retreats can also be arranged for different durations.

How much does a retreat cost?

  

Retreat prices vary depending on the length of stay and inclusions. Please contact us for a personalized proposal.

Is participation in all activities mandatory?

  

Not at all. All offerings are optional—you’re free to join as much or as little as you like.

Do I need to be experienced in yoga or wellness practices?

  
No prior experience is needed. Our sessions are suitable for all levels and are guided by experienced practitioners.

Can I come alone or with someone?

  
Guests are welcome to come solo, with a partner, or in a group. Many guests come alone for a personal reset.

Can I customize my retreat?

  
Absolutely. We specialize in crafting bespoke wellness retreats tailored to your unique goals, preferences, and pace—whether you’re seeking deep rest, rejuvenation, or a more active journey.

Are wellness facilities available outside scheduled activities?

  
Yes. You’ll have unlimited access to our wellness facilities, including infrared sauna, Himalayan salt sauna, subterranean hot & cold pools, yoga and meditation shala, and 24-hour fully-equipped gym.

Is travel insurance required?

  
We highly recommend travel insurance for your peace of mind, but it is not mandatory.

Accommodations & Dining

Do you offer private rooms?

  

Yes, all accommodations at The Asa Maia are private, thoughtfully designed spaces with heritage architecture and modern comforts.

Are meals included in my retreat?

  

Yes, daily à la carte meals are included during your retreat. All dishes are seasonal, nourishing, and tailored to support your wellness journey.

Do you serve alcohol? Can I smoke at the resort?

  

Yes, we serve a curated selection of wine, beer, cocktails, and spirits. While The Asa Maia is a smoke-free property, guests are welcome to step outside the resort grounds should they wish to smoke.

What time is check-in and check-out?

  

Check-in is from 3:00 PM, and check-out is by 12:00 PM. If you arrive early, we’re happy to store your luggage at reception so you can begin enjoying our facilities while your room is being prepared.

Traveling to Bali

Do I need a visa to visit Bali?

  

Most nationalities can obtain a Visa on Arrival for 30 days. Please check with your local Indonesian consulate for the latest entry requirements.

How do I get to The Asa Maia?

  

We are located in Uluwatu, Bali—about 45-90 minutes from Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS), depending on the traffic. Airport transfers can be arranged for you.

What’s the best time to visit?

  

Bali is warm year-round. The dry season (April–October) is ideal for sun and surf, while the rainy season (November–March) is quieter and lush.

What should I pack?

  

Lightweight clothing, swimwear, activewear, and comfortable shoes. We provide most essentials including yoga mats and robes.
